VISIT TO NATURE PROTECTION AREAS AS AN EDUCATIONAL EVENT FOR THE FORMATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL VALUES OF STUDENTS

Abstract

The article is devoted to justifying the expediency of conducting educational events (visiting nature conservation areas) for the formation of environmental values in students of socio-economic professions. The relevance of the formation of environmental values among young people, in particular students of socio-economic professions, is determined by the need to ensure sustainable development and preservation of the environment. The authors draw attention to the fact that one of the forms of formation of ecological values is the participation of students of socio-economic professions as future specialists in the exchange of experience with specialists of environmental protection institutions. It is noted that as part of the implementation of pedagogical conditions for the formation of environmental values among students of socionomic professions, students visited the Holosiivskyi National Nature Park. Attention is focused on the interactive potential of the educational program developed by the employees of the "Holosiivskyi" National Nature Park regarding the opportunity for students not only to enjoy the beauty of nature, but also to acquire new ecological knowledge about environmental protection. The role of the students' own initiative to participate in the specified program using modern technologies for the promotion of environmental values, the placement of publications, videos and interactive web applications in social networks, the role of such activities in popularizing the ideas of biodiversity conservation, sustainable use of nature and environmental responsibility of society, in particular students, is noted. During excursions, thematic quests and educational events, the interaction between man and nature was emphasized through practical activities, which contributed to the awareness of the importance of a responsible attitude towards the environment, the formation of ecological values The authors come to a conclusion about the important role of visiting nature conservation areas in the formation of environmental values of students of socio-economic professions and the expediency of conducting such events at all stages of students' education at the university.
