THE SYMBOLIC DIMENSION OF J. S. BACH'S CLAVIER MUSIC IN THE SCIENTIFIC CONCEPT B. L. YAVORSKY

Abstract

The article outlines and highlights the issues of subtext in clavier music, namely in the cycle «Well- Tempered Clavier№ by the brilliant composer Johann Sebastian Bach, which were characteristic and characteristic of the art of the High Baroque era. It was found that in all the preludes and fugues, the composer encoded religious motifs, filling the music with new meanings, emphasizing and emphasizing the means and techniques that convey implicit information. It is noted that under the influence of the German scientist and great connoisseur of the work of J.S. Bach – Albert Schweitzer, the domestic art critic – Bolesław Leopoldovich Yavorsky, more than 100 years ago developed a systematic and holistic concept that presents a fundamentally new idea of the composer's clavier work. To date, detailed research has become known by B. Yavorsky, who found in «The Well-Tempered Clavier» a generalized musical and ethical interpretation of most of the most important images and plots of the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, proving that each prelude and fugue is related to certain episodes from the Gospel. It is noted that all the work of J. S. Bach is characterized by a philosophical and religious orientation, which demonstrates according to his statement – "The Great Concerto to the glory of the Almighty, and to the neighbor to understanding." (Kashkamova N. 1998).
