Abstract

This article provides an analysis of pedagogical work on small-form compositions in the process of piano training. The authors focus their research on identifying specific challenges and opportunities that arise during the study of small-form compositions, addressing methodological questions related to working with these compositions, taking into account both technical and expressive aspects of piano playing. In the article, pedagogical strategies for effective teaching and development of pianists in the process of learning small-form compositions are thoroughly examined. Special attention is given to the individual characteristics of each student and methods for stimulating a creative approach to the interpretation and performance of musical pieces. Based on the conducted analysis, the authors offer specific recommendations for the optimal implementation of the mentioned methodological approaches in the educational process. This article can be valuable for professionals in the field of music education, piano instructors, and students of music educational institutions.
