ADAPTATION CAPABILITIES OF THE HUMAN ORGANISM IN CONDITIONS OF EXTERNAL INFLUENCES

Keywords: adaptation, physiological adaptation, psychological adaptation, social adaptation, adaptive potential, stress resistance, external factors

Abstract

Adaptation of the human body to changing environmental conditions is a fundamental biological and social process that ensures survival, effective life and preservation of health. The modern world is characterized by dynamic changes associated with both natural factors (climate change, environmental conditions) and anthropogenic factors (technogenic load, social stress, information overload). In conditions of growing environmental threats, intensification of labor activity and changes in socio-cultural paradigms, the study of the adaptive capabilities of the human body is gaining particular relevance. The research methodology is based on a comprehensive analysis of scientific sources, data from biological, medical and psychological research, as well as on the generalization of empirical materials on human adaptation to changing environmental conditions. The variety of external influences determines the need for a comprehensive approach to the study of human adaptation mechanisms. Biological adaptation includes physiological processes of maintaining homeostasis, immune reactions and the energy balance of the body. Psychological aspects of adaptation determine the individual's ability to withstand stress, emotional regulation and cognitive flexibility. Social factors, in turn, play a key role in the formation of adaptation strategies through the influence of social norms, interpersonal relationships and cultural traditions. The scientific significance of the work lies in expanding the understanding of the adaptive capabilities of the human body, which can be useful for medicine, psychology, sociology and other branches of science. The practical value of the study is associated with the possibility of using the results obtained in the development of programs to increase stress resistance, optimize working conditions, improve the quality of life and maintain human health in the conditions of the modern world.
