FORMATION OF INDEPENDENT WORK SKILLS OF FUTURE BIOLOGY TEACHERS IN THE PROCESS OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING

Abstract

The article deals with the process of developing independent work skills of future biology teachers as one of the key aspects of their professional training. It is noted that the development of such skills contributes to the deepening of theoretical knowledge, improvement of practical skills, formation of research competen- cies and readiness for lifelong learning. The basic principles, methods and tools for organizing students' independent work are revealed, and the role of digital technologies in this process is analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the didactic conditions that contribute to the effective learning of the material, the devel- opment of critical thinking and the formation of the ability to apply knowledge in practical activities.The article considers a number of requirements for the independent work of future teachers, such as: formation of independence of higher education students; mastering knowledge, skills and abilities, ensuring control over the actions of higher education students, informing higher education students about the level of achievement of goals, determining requirements for the results of higher education students, creating external conditions for independent work of higher education students, taking into account the individual characteristics of each higher education student, providing higher education students with the opportunity to independently plan their own.It has been found that independent work plays a special role in the professional training of specialists, being a form, on the one hand, of organizing students' independent work, on the other – the development of their cognitive activity. The formation of independent work skills in future biology teachers plays an impor- tant role in the process of their professional training, because the ability to self-education and effective self-organization is a prerequisite for successful pedagogical activity.
