Abstract

Scientific article explores the challenges of approbating the tools for economic evaluation of business process management systems' effectiveness. The primary objective is to implement the practical application of existing economic methods to assess management effectiveness in operating enterprises, which will allow for a deeper understanding of the efficiency structure and the impact of indicators on the overall enterprise effectiveness. The authors detail the decomposition of the "efficiency toolkit" category into basic indicators and develop an algorithm for their practical use based on the Norton-Kaplan Balanced Scorecard system. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the implementation of a comprehensive approach to the economic evaluation of business process management systems' effectiveness, which includes financial, managerial, market, and socio-psychological indicators. To standardize management effectiveness indicators, the multidimensional scaling method was used, allowing for the conversion of stimulator and destimulator indicators into a single measurement. The final stage of the research involved calculating partial effectiveness indicators for the strategic perspectives of the Norton-Kaplan model and an integral indicator of the enterprise's business process management systems' effectiveness. The practical significance of the work lies in the fact that the research results allow enterprises to apply the tested model and, consequently, optimize their business processes, increase their efficiency, and enhance the enterprise's competitiveness in the market. The main conclusions include recommendations for applying economic evaluation tools and provide a basis for developing new management strategies based on the analyzed data. The research conclusions emphasize the importance of an integrated approach to analyzing the effectiveness of business process management systems. They indicate the need to use complex indicators for a deeper understanding of the management system's impact on the efficiency of enterprise business process implementation. The results of applying the described method allow enterprises to identify weaknesses in business process management systems and formulate effective management decisions for their optimization.
