MANAGEMENT OF RESEARCH PROJECTS IN INTEGRATED BUSINESS MODELS OF KNOWLEDGE-INTENSIVE INDUSTRIES
Abstract
This article explores the theoretical aspects of managing scientific projects within integrated business models in knowledge-intensive industries. The research is motivated by the numerous critical challenges facing the Ukrainian economy, including the armed aggression by the Russian Federation and the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic. An analysis of recent academic publications reveals a significant interest in project management and integrated business models, but the issue of managing scientific projects within integrated business models remains under-researched. Most works focus on individual aspects of key topics without considering an integrated approach. The research methodology involves content analysis of scientometric systems to identify scientific achievements in this field. The results of the content analysis indicate that existing studies are predominantly focused on applied aspects of the problem, overlooking theoretical foundations. The study identifies promising directions for future research, particularly the need to develop theoretical approaches to managing scientific projects within integrated business models. This will ensure the sustainable development of enterprises in conditions of uncertainty and numerous external challenges. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of rethinking existing theoretical approaches to ensure effective management of scientific projects in modern conditions. The findings can be valuable for both the academic community and managers in the real sector of the economy seeking to enhance their efficiency through innovative business models. Further research in this direction will enable the development of new scientifically grounded approaches to managing scientific projects within integrated business models, contributing to the competitiveness of Ukrainian enterprises in the global market. It is also essential to consider the specifics of knowledge-intensive industries, where innovation and scientific research play a crucial role in ensuring sustainable development and adaptation to changing external environments. Overall, the work aims to enhance the theoretical soundness and practical significance of research in the field of scientific project management.
